The Dollina I was similar to the Dollina II except for the coupled rangefinder. Note that the frame counter on this model was located toward the front of the top plate, whereas this was moved to the rear of the plate in the Dollina II to accommodate the addition of the rangefinder assembly.
For the record, the camera's Compur shutter serial number is 374254, and the Steinheil Munchen Cassar lens is 355707.
These were very popular cameras and remained on the market through 1939. The introduction of the short-lived Dollina III c1937 reflected the active efforts of the company to develop and improve the model. By 1938, Certo was offering three versions of the Dollina as well as the significantly more advanced Super Dollina which would continue in the post-WWII period in the form of the Super Dollina II.
